Do you warranty the work you do?
Definitely! All the work we do is guaranteed for 30 days beyond the repair. All parts are also guaranteed for at least 30 days (some parts manufacturers and/or vendors offer longer warranties).
What happens if it cannot be fixed?
ITSolutions|Currie CAN fix your issue. There is always a way to resolve your problem. Often a repair is not cost effective and we are quick to offer other solutions. There is simply no issue we can’t resolve.
Can you recover data from a bad hard drive?
Yes. ITSolutions|Currie has the tools necessary to recover your data. Some companies charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars to recover data from a bad hard drive. We will attempt to recover data via a number of methods including several software based recovery programs. ITSolutions|Currie, however, does not have a clean-room environment. If a hard drive needs new parts or needs to be taken apart we refer our customers to an offsite location in the San Francisco Bay Area that has a secure clean room environment. We have experienced a greater than 95% success rate on data recovery.
Are your technicians trained and certified?
Yes and yes. Our technicians have the training, certification, and experience needed to fix any issue presented to them. With a large staff, we have many technicians that offer unique skills. Our team’s combined experience is the largest in the Central Valley.
What types of computers do you work on?
All types. We work on any brand of computer. Whatever the age or issue, our technicians have the knowledge to get your system fixed. From viruses to bad hard drives, we’ve seen it all. There is no brand that we can’t fix. We also work on Apple computers!
Is my computer worth fixing?
With new equipment becoming less expensive, this question is often asked. Depending on the age of your system, it may not be worth the cost of repair. Our technicians are very conscious of older equipment that is not cost effective to repair. We will never attempt a repair that would cost more than replacing the item.

Can I expedite the repair?
Yes. ITSolutions|Currie offers a special Mayday Service for an extra charge. If you have an emergency, please ask us for details.
On rare occasions because of a busy workload, we may not offer this mayday service.
How long does the repair take?
Depending on our current work-load, the time a repair takes can vary. We aim to get all repairs done within 24 to 48 hours. There are times where this can take longer due to extensive diagnostics or the need to order special parts. We do deal with local vendors to get parts quickly and stock a large number of parts in-house so that repairs can be finished without delay.
How much do repairs cost?
All work on computers is charged $135/hr plus the cost of parts. Most repairs only take an hour as we only bill for the time spent in front of the computer and not the overall time the entire repair takes. With all repairs, our technicians will work quickly and efficiently to get your repair done in a cost effective manner. With our technician’s experience and training, our goal is to work effectively to save you money.
If your employer is a WatchIT All+ managed services customer and you are bringing in a company asset then in most cases it is covered under that agreement.
Is there a diagnostic fee?
Yes and no. Upon diagnosing your issue we will contact you and let you know how we should proceed with the repair. If the quoted repair is simply too costly to proceed, there is a $65 diagnostic fee. However, if we do proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived and we will proceed at our hourly rate.
If your employer is a WatchIT All+ managed services customer and you are bringing in a company asset then in most cases it is covered under that agreement.
What to expect when dropping off equipment
Expect a friendly face to greet you as you come in. We do not close for lunch so we’ll be available from 8am to 5pm to check in equipment. Our staff will ask the right questions to make sure our technicians have the knowledge they need to fix your issues. Feel free to ask any questions you may have; we’re here to help.
Do you serve the general public for computer repair?
As of January 2016 ITSolutions|Currie only accepts repair walk-ins from managed services customers and there employees. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Referral is available upon request.
